3 step guide to getting your concealed handgun license:
The first thing you will want to do before signing up for classes is to check the Eligibility Requirements, to ensure that you are eligible to get your Texas CHL License.
The second step is to apply online with DPSand get your fingerprints taken . Having your fingerprints taken electronically is mandatory. Manual or paper fingerprints will no longer be accepted. The nearest electronic fingerprinting state is in the Brazos Mall just opened a new location for digital fingerprinting.
Before you schedule an appointment for fingerprinting you must apply with the state first. If you apply online you will need the receipt number from the application to enter into the L1-Solutions fingerprint online reservation system. To make a fingerprinting appointment, click HERE
NOTE there is a fingerprinting location in Pearland.
